H2O Boat Tow runs on-water assistance for Lake Ray Hubbard and Lake Lavon, northeast of Dallas, as a TowBoatUS operator. One call reaches a licensed captain on (844) 262-8869, day or night, every day of the year.
- Boat towing, to your trailer, your slip, or any marina, ramp or repair yard you name — including dock-to-dock tows to a repair facility.
- Breakdown assistance for engine, transmission, drive and electrical failures: what can be fixed out on the water is fixed there, and what cannot is towed in.
- Battery jump starts. If the jump does not hold, the boat is towed to a repair facility.
- Fuel brought out to the boat on the water, at any hour.
- Soft ungroundings.
- Salvage and recovery.
- Dive services: prop and line clearing, underwater inspection, and recovery of lost items.
Mechanical failure of engines, transmissions and drives is the single most common reason boaters call for on-water assistance. Nothing about it is unusual, and nothing about it needs to ruin the weekend.
For TowBoatUS and BoatUS members, covered services are paid 100% by BoatUS with no paperwork. Non-members are served at posted rates, quoted before the boat leaves the dock.
Insurance work
We deal with the carrier, not just the boat.
Insurance-assigned salvage is accepted on fixed-price or time-and-materials scopes. Most carriers can be billed directly, and we work with carriers and adjusters on authorization, scope and billing. Certificates of insurance and references are available on request.
Salvage is not covered by any towing membership and is normally paid by the boat owner’s insurance.

Salvage, recovery and dive work.
A soft ungrounding is a boat that is upright, undamaged, surrounded by water and freeable in about fifteen minutes with one boat and one line. Anything else is salvage, and the captain says which one you have before a line goes on the boat.
Salvage and recovery work uses divers, salvage pumps, lift bags and high-capacity dewatering pumps, with fuel-spill containment, photo documentation and condition reports for insurance files. Divers also clear fouled props and lines, inspect underwater, and recover items lost over the side.

Two big lakes on the edge of the Metroplex.
Ray Hubbard and Lavon sit within a few miles of each other northeast of Dallas and run to better than 21,000 acres apiece. H2O Boat Tow serves both as a TowBoatUS operator, and its reach carries about 120 miles by road from a port — the whole eastern side of Texas, from the Gulf coast to Arkansas.
Lake Ray Hubbard
21,671 acres on the East Fork of the Trinity River, one mile west of Rockwall, across Collin, Dallas, Rockwall and Kaufman counties. Maximum depth 40 feet; impounded in 1968.
Lake Lavon
21,400 acres in Collin County, four miles northeast of Wylie off Texas Highway 78. Maximum depth 59 feet; impounded in 1953 and doubled in size in 1974.

Membership
The tow costs less before you need it.
A single on-water assistance call for a non-member typically runs $300 to $500 nationally. An Unlimited freshwater TowBoatUS towing membership runs about $130 a year and covers you nationwide — towing, soft ungroundings, battery jump starts and fuel delivery, with the fuel itself the only thing you pay for on a delivery.
